Corrections, changed rules, privacy requests and accessibility problems all reach the same small team. A person reads every message.
What to write to us about
- A fact that looks wrong. Name the page and the fact, and paste a link to the official source if you have one. We check every report against the source; How we verify explains how.
- A rule that has changed. If a state program changed its pay rate, its phone number or who it covers, tell us where you saw the change.
- A barrier. If part of the site is hard to read or use, tell us the page and what you were using. Our accessibility statement has more.
- A privacy request. Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Our privacy policy lists your rights.
What we cannot do
We cannot tell you whether your parent or spouse qualifies for a program, give legal, medical or financial advice, or recommend a facility or a care agency. Only the agency or plan that runs a program can decide eligibility, and our pages name who to ask. The disclaimer explains why.
Please leave health details out of your message. Do not send a diagnosis, medical records, a Medicaid or Medicare number or a Social Security number. We do not need them to fix a page or answer a question.
What happens next
A person on our editorial team reads your message and answers by email. If you reported an error, we check it against the official source, and if we were wrong we fix the page and list the fix on our Corrections page.
We use your name and email address only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not share your message with anyone selling a service, and we will never call you. Your message is kept until you ask us to delete it. Our privacy policy says what else we keep and for how long.
