Advertising disclosure

Where things stand

The Care Record currently shows no paid advertising and has no affiliate relationships. We do not sell leads: no one pays us when you call them, fill in their form or choose their service. No agency, care provider, insurer or law firm pays to appear on the site, and nothing you read here was written in exchange for money or free goods.

Revlent LLC, the publisher, pays for the site. You pay nothing to read it, and we ask nothing of you in return.

Why we work this way

Many sites that answer care questions earn money when you call an advisor or hand over your phone number. That pull can shape what a page tells you. We want the answer on each page to be the best answer for you, with nothing pushing you toward a sale.

If that changes

We may add advertising or partner offers in the future. If we do, these rules apply:

  • We update this page before the change goes live, not after.
  • A partner offer sits in a box labeled as a partner offer, after the answer. It never sits inside the answer and never interrupts it.
  • A paid link is marked as paid where it appears.
  • An advertiser or partner never changes a fact, a source, a checked-on date or the order of the options we describe.
  • We never sell your contact details.

Our privacy policy would change at the same time, to name any new service and any cookie it sets.

What stays off the table

Our facts are not for sale. A program is described because it exists and you may qualify, not because anyone paid. No one can pay to change how we report a rule, remove an unfavorable fact, or move a correction off our Corrections page.

Questions

If something on the site looks like an undisclosed ad or a paid placement, tell us through the contact form and name the page it was on. We will look into it and fix it.
